Stone

You can have a memorial or keepsake of your beloved pet or other family member that will last forever.

Granite can last for centuries outside and forever inside. It is the perfect medium for commemorative plaques, murals, and memorial markers. We use absolute black granite for memorial markers and plaques. Although we use a high quality “black” granite, it is a natural stone material and there will be natural variations in the surface appearance and color.

We can photo engrave your granite plaque or marker and engrave with names, poems, graphics, and other text. We do not limit the text that can be engraved, but the more text requested, the smaller everything will need to be, including photos. If you want a photo, you will need to digitally send us a high quality photo as an e-mail attachment. The cost of the granite plaque or memorial includes photo engraving with one photo, design work, choice of font, and one digital proof. Please contact us for a price quote if you would like more than one photo and proof.

You can choose from granite shapes for your plaque, including squares, rectangles, ovals, daisy shapes, bone shapes, or paw print shapes. Most granite plaques are polished on one side and the edges. We engrave your photo and your text on the granite. If you want suggestions for text, we would be pleased to help you put your feelings into words.

Marble is softer than granite, so we suggest indoor use for marble, although it will last decades out of doors. Photo etching is done on black marble, but we have white or green for plaques, coasters, and awards. You can choose round, oval, square, rectangle, or heart shaped marble for plaques and coasters.

At this time, we only etch small polished river rocks. We do not deep engrave or sand blast rocks.
