Shipping and packaging charges will be added to all orders based on current rates. We ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx, SpeeDee, or other carrier depending on location and best value. Although we could add more to the price of our products and claim “free” shipping, we don’t believe this is fair to all customers. Some items don’t cost as much to ship, or the distance is shorter. We don’t believe in having all customers pay for shipping anywhere in the U.S. by increasing all of our prices to cover “free” shipping, which is never free.
We will notify you of shipping charges when we take your order, unless you request special services or express mail.
Whenever possible, we will ship using USPS Priority Mail. The starting rate for a flat package is about $6.50
Small items can be shipped in a padded mailer. The cost of shipping items that are less than three ounces in a small padded mailer is $3.75.
We ship to the address that you provide when you purchase the item. If you provide an incorrect or outdated address and the item does not arrive, we can resend the item, but you will need to pay for the item and shipping again.
Tracking and Insurance
Almost all items shipped via USPS now have tracking numbers; however, we cannot be responsible when the USPS does not update the tracking information, which often happens during the holidays. Once an item is shipped, Daybreak’s no longer is responsible for the item. If you would like to add insurance to an item when it is shipped, please contact us when you order the item. UPS, FedEx, SpeeDee, and the USPS offer insurance on items. If a package arrives damaged and it is insured, please be prepared to provide documentation and photos to the shipping carrier or shipping company. You must also keep all packaging as evidence or you will not be able to collect on the insured package and item.
